Located directly on the Jungfernsee, on a small hill, a completely new district has been created here in recent years - "Belvedere Jungfernsee". The residential area on Jungfernsee covers around 15 hectares, divided into 150 building plots of between 600 and 2,000 m². Extravagant villas and spacious detached houses, which are characterized by a high degree of exclusivity, are idyllically situated along the beautiful Jungfernsee cycling and hiking trail, offering bathing spots or running routes southwest of the Sacrower See nature reserve and the Königswald forest opposite.
The Nauener Vorstadt, a sought-after district with a closed cityscape of high design quality and old trees, is home to extensive parks, Cecilienhof Palace and much more. The property is located directly next to the Villa Jacobs park and the Neuer Garten, which is also home to the unique Marble Palace with its incomparable view of the Heiliger See. On the edge of the New Garden is the historic Meierei restaurant with a beer garden on the waterfront. The Russian colony "Alexandrowka" and the restored Belvedere on the Pfingstberg are also worth a visit. From here you have a wonderful view over the "island" of Potsdam and the water- and nature-rich surroundings - in clear weather as far as Berlin and the television tower at Alexanderplatz.
Potsdam is known far beyond the borders of Brandenburg and Berlin for its quality of life and attractiveness. The spectacular, baroque city center with all its attractive shopping and strolling opportunities is just a few minutes' walk away. Recreation seekers will find plenty of beautiful places to rest and relax here, as Potsdam consists of 2/3 green spaces in the parks and is surrounded by the waters of the Havel.
Various shopping facilities (BIO Company, REWE, ALDI, DM), cafés and bakeries are located in the immediate vicinity. A kindergarten and a newly built school are also within easy reach for your children thanks to particularly well-developed cycle paths. Another elementary school is also being built in the neighboring Fritz-von-der-Lancken-Straße. The traditional Protestant elementary school in Große Weinmeisterstraße is also easy for children to reach by bike.
