Neu-Fahrland is located in the north of the Brandenburg state capital of Potsdam. Clockwise, the district is bordered to the east by Krampnitzsee and Lehnitzsee, to the south by Jungfernsee, Sacrow-Paretzer Kanal and Weißer See, and to the west by Fahrlander See, which is within walking distance, making it a "five-lake district" almost completely surrounded by water. Completely surrounded by water and a landscape of mixed forests, Neu-Fahrland is a natural beauty of the Havelland. In recent years, attractive town villas, detached houses and apartment buildings have been built in the neighborhood. Sights such as the Villa Adlon, the Siemens Villa and the Nedlitzer Nordbrücke bridge are located in the local community of Neu Fahrland. A daycare center is located a short distance from your new home. There are excellent stores for your daily needs in the immediate vicinity on the B2.
The village is well integrated into the public transport network. Five bus lines connect Neu Fahrland with Potsdam and the Berlin district of Spandau, which are only 15 and 30 minutes away by bus respectively. Potsdam, the cultural city with around 185,000 inhabitants and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be reached in just a few minutes and offers a spectacular baroque city center, excellent residential areas and a city center with attractive shopping and strolling opportunities. Recreation seekers will find plenty of beautiful places to rest and relax here, as Potsdam consists of 2/3 forests and water. This is not the only reason why Neu Fahrland is a popular residential area with a high recreational value. In addition to the good connections to the city center, there are also numerous leisure activities in the green surroundings, such as swimming, hiking, cycling, jogging, fishing, boating, diving and ice skating. This is particularly appealing to amateur athletes and dog owners.
The nearby highway access to the western Berlin A10 ring road is only about 10 minutes away and gives you the flexibility you need. Even Berlin's Ku'damm can be reached in just 30 minutes by car. Potsdam city center is only about 4.5 km away, and the Berlin city limits in Kladow are only about 7 km from your new home.
